Business Financing

South Lake CFDC provides local businesses with access to a variety of business financing options.

Local businesses may access up to $150,000 in financing to assist with business expansion or the purchase of new assets, provide working capital, purchase an existing business or start-up a new business.

Deferred interest loans are also available for businesses and not-for-profits interested in retrofitting/renovating unutilized, or under utilized, existing commercial, industrial or retail space through the Access to Capital Fund-Retrofit Program.  Click on Eastern Ontario Development Program for further details.

All lending decisions are made by our volunteer Board of Directors at their monthly meeting.  This meeting typically occurs the last Wednesday of the month.  Clients wishing to have an application on the agenda should complete and submit our standardized Loan Application package no later than eight business days prior to this meeting.

All information provided by clients is subject to the PIPEDA.  A copy of our Privacy Statement Brochure is available by clicking on the link below.
