South Lake CFDC has a membership system which allows interested people from the community to become members of the organization and have some influence over its direction.  Members will be eligible for appointment to one of our Standing Committees or nomination to our Board of Directors.  Members will have the ability to nominate alternates to the slate of Directors circulated each year with the Notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Members (AGM).  Members will also have the right to vote, in person or by proxy, on all matters of business at any General Meeting of the Members including the election of the Board of Directors.

Interested people should complete and submit the Membership Application Form, which can be downloaded from this page, and submit this to our office.  All applications for membership must be approved by the Board of Directors.  Applicants will be notified promptly if their application is accepted and will then have thirty days to accept the offer of membership by paying the annual membership fee of $10.00 (ten dollars) and signing our non-disclosure agreement.

For the purposes of membership the year is deemed to begin the day after our AGM and continue up to and including the day of our next AGM.  Regardless of when in the calendar year a member joins the organization that membership expires at the end of the day of the organization's next AGM.  Each year, with their Notice of the AGM, members will also receive a membership renewal notice.  They will have thirty (30) days from the date of that notice to pay their annual fee and renew their membership for the coming year.  Failure to do so will require the person to re-apply for membership.
